How much does a website cost?
Most brochure and small business sites fall between £9,000 and £22,000 including design, development, and project management. It depends on the number of pages, whether you need a blog, and how complex the functionality is. We give you a fixed quote before any work starts.
How long does it take?
Typically 4-6 weeks from kickoff to launch. The biggest variable is how quickly content and feedback come back from your side. We keep to our deadlines.
What platform do you build on?
Usually WordPress or Sanity, depending on your needs. WordPress if you want something familiar with lots of plugins. Sanity if you want something modern and fast. We recommend the right fit during discovery.
Can I update the site myself?
Yes. Every site comes with a content management system and a training session. You can update text, images, and blog posts without touching code.
Do you do design as well?
Yes, for these projects we handle both design and development. You do not need to bring your own designer.
What about hosting after launch?
We offer managed hosting from £200/month. That includes Cloudflare security with DDoS protection and web application firewall, 24/7 uptime monitoring, monthly plugin and theme updates with post-update QA, security patching within 24 hours for critical issues, up to 2 hours of support per month, and email support within one working day. Larger or higher-traffic sites start at £350/month with dedicated hosting and more support hours.
I already have a website but it needs rebuilding. Can you help?
That is exactly what most of our clients come to us for. We migrate your content, set up 301 redirects so you do not lose search rankings, and build something you are actually proud of. We handle the DNS cutover, SSL, and everything else. You do not need to worry about the technical side of switching.
I started building a site with AI tools. Can you finish it?
We see this more and more. AI tools are great for prototyping but the output usually lacks SEO, accessibility, a content management system, and production-level performance. We will take a look at what you have and give you an honest assessment. Sometimes the fastest path is to use what the AI generated as a design reference and rebuild properly. Sometimes parts are salvageable. Either way, the initial conversation is free.
What if I just need a few changes to my existing site?
We are happy to do smaller jobs too. If you have a WordPress site that just needs some updates, security hardening, or a performance fix, get in touch. We can do a one-off project or set you up on a support retainer.
Will I own the website?
Yes. Domain registration, hosting credentials, CMS logins, code, everything. It is all in your name and fully documented. If you ever want to move to a different developer or host elsewhere, you can. We do not lock you in.
