Modern Slavery Statement
Last updated: April 2026
Our position
Innatus Digital Ltd opposes modern slavery and human trafficking in all forms. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships, and to implementing and enforcing systems to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our business or supply chain.
About this statement
The UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires businesses with an annual turnover of £36 million or more to publish a statement on the steps they take to prevent modern slavery in their operations and supply chains. As a small business, we fall below this threshold and are not legally required to publish a statement.
We publish this statement voluntarily because we believe ethical business practice should not depend on company size. As a B Corp certified company, we hold ourselves to standards that go beyond the legal minimum.
Our business
Innatus Digital Ltd is a small web development studio based in Somerset, UK. We are a team of six people. We provide web development, technical consultancy, hosting, and bespoke software services to businesses across the UK and Europe, and to other agencies as a development partner.
Our supply chain
Our supply chain is small and consists primarily of:
- Cloud hosting providers (AWS, DigitalOcean, Vercel, Cloudflare)
- Software-as-a-service tools used in our work (Sanity, GitHub, Sentry, Resend, and others)
- Hardware suppliers for laptops and equipment
- Professional services (accountancy, legal, insurance)
- Office supplies and utilities
We assess the modern slavery risk in our supply chain as low. The vast majority of our suppliers are large established technology and professional services companies operating in the UK, EU, and US, in jurisdictions with strong labour protections.
Our people
All members of our team are directly employed or engaged on transparent contractual terms. We pay above-average salaries with documented progression frameworks. We provide private medical insurance, paid voluntary leave, and personal development budgets. We do not engage workers through unverified labour providers or umbrella companies.
Our recruitment process verifies the right to work for all hires in line with UK law. We do not retain identity documents or charge fees for recruitment.
Our approach
When evaluating new suppliers and partners, we consider their ethical practices alongside technical capability and price. Where possible, we choose suppliers that publish their own ethical sourcing or modern slavery commitments.
We give preference to local, independent suppliers for non-technical purchases, both to reduce environmental impact and to support businesses operating under UK labour standards.
Our B Corp certification, achieved in 2023, requires us to meet independently verified standards for social and environmental performance, including the treatment of workers and supply chain practices. We renew this certification on the standard B Corp cycle.
Reporting concerns
If you have any concerns about modern slavery in connection with our business or supply chain, please contact us at [email protected]. We will investigate any concerns raised in good faith and treat them confidentially.
Concerns about modern slavery in the UK can also be reported to the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700.
