Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
Innatus Digital is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, the international standard for web accessibility.
We believe accessibility is not optional. As web developers, we have a responsibility to build the web in a way that works for everyone, and we apply that standard to our own site as much as to the work we do for clients.
What is accessible
The website is designed to work with assistive technologies and adaptive settings. You should be able to:
- Navigate the entire site using only a keyboard
- Use a screen reader (we test with VoiceOver and NVDA) to access all content and functionality
- Resize text up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
- Use the site at 320px width without horizontal scrolling
- Skip directly to the main content of any page using the “Skip to content” link
- See clear focus indicators when navigating with a keyboard
- Read all text with sufficient contrast against its background (4.5:1 minimum for normal text)
- Reduce or disable animations by enabling “prefer reduced motion” in your operating system
- Use the contact form with proper labels, error messages, and screen reader announcements
Our approach
The website is built with accessibility in mind from the ground up:
- Semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks throughout
- Proper heading hierarchy on every page
- Descriptive alt text on all meaningful images
- Form fields with associated labels, autocomplete attributes, and inline error messages
- Live region announcements for dynamic content (form submissions, calculator updates)
- Keyboard-accessible interactive components
- Brand colours chosen and tested to meet WCAG AA contrast requirements
- Respect for user preferences including reduced motion and high contrast modes
Known limitations
We aim for full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance and believe the site currently meets that standard. We do not currently target Level AAA, as some AAA criteria (such as 7:1 contrast and lower secondary reading level) would require substantial changes to our brand and content that we believe would reduce the value of the site for our audience.
If you find an accessibility barrier we have not identified, please tell us. We treat accessibility issues as bugs and prioritise fixing them.
Reporting accessibility issues
If you have trouble accessing any part of this website, or if you would like to suggest an improvement, please contact us:

Technical information
This website is built with:
- Next.js (React) for the frontend
- Sanity for content management
- Semantic HTML5 and ARIA where needed
- Tailwind CSS for styling
The site has been tested against WCAG 2.2 Level AA using a combination of automated testing tools, manual keyboard testing, and screen reader testing.
Third-party content
Some content on this website is provided by third-party services. We do our best to ensure these meet accessibility standards but we are not always in direct control of their output. If you encounter an accessibility issue with embedded third-party content, please let us know and we will work with the provider or find an alternative.
Enforcement
The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Equality Act 2010 in respect of digital accessibility. If you contact us with a complaint and you are not happy with our response, you can contact the EHRC.
